I was very excited when I received my Canon Powershot sd780is and it is one of the best digital camera I have owned. I ordered it from Amazon and it arrived earlier than the time it was scheduled. I was surprised at just how small it was. Its about the size of a deck of cards. I like the fact that I can just slip it into my pocket and go anywhere with it. It is a lot easier than packing around my DSLR or my camcorder.

I was taking some shots and trying out the various settings with my Canon Sd780is and I found out it takes excellent shots even when I set it to auto mode. I can get very nice 8 x 10 printouts with it set on auto. I did take some shots in manual mode where I adjusted the white light, tungsten and the ISO settings and they came out excellent. This Canon Sd780is is the best digital camera I have owned so far and the shots came out very crisp and clear.

The start up time for this camera is very fast. The battery will get used up pretty fast when I am doing video but I always keep another one handy with me just in case. This camera comes in 4 colors red, silver, black, and gold. I like red so got the red one, its very pretty and stylish.

Some people say the viewfinder is too small but it comes in very handy when I’m out in the sun on a bright day and I cant see the LCD screen. A lot of compact cameras do not even have a viewfinder at all and I have been very grateful I had it many times over.

The video on this little Canon sd780is camera was amazing. I like it because I can just plug it in to my big screen HDTV or my computer and watch the videos or look at the pictures.

All in all I can truly say I have been very happy with this little Canon Sd780is

I would recommend this camera for a beginner or a professional photographer.

This Canon SD780is is one of the best digital camera on the market.
